[27th sept 2006] fun times at liquid kitchen

it has been a long time... too long in fact... that i almost forgot how soothing and relaxing it can be.... just to drink and chat.. having some mindless stupid games with frens... it just did that... at liquid kitchen... the drinks and food are not exactly first class... but the friendship is the main dish... i totally enjoyed the time there with them...
the gang consist of myself, eric, edwin, nicholas, jesse and yi shyan. we played asshole-tai-dee [i think is spelt like this], piggy and truth or dare... some cliche games.. but it was fun! haha... anyway i was late due to tuition and then i had a conference call with ben and jan, thus i wasnt really connecting with them for about 50% of the time. haha... but i made up by making my presence felt for the other 50%. making fun of myself and others. most of the time others.... haha.... the rubber band joke on yi shyan... and the big mouth/ leo joke on jesse. haha... really really enjoyed myself... wonder if they enjoyed as much... :P
just as we are laughing at the dares and truths that we had shared.... suddenly... a question popped out! a question that is beyond the league of "truth and dare""ellson... how do you keep being focused onto God?"wa lau.... what kind of question is this? not really the kind of truth or dare genre... but i am glad that he asked me that.... it gave me a chance to share to people... a chance to be open to people.. a chance to build deeper relationship... a chance to encourage and hopefully inspire the rest... at least i hope that i did... :)
i believe God allow everyone of us to go through suffering... trying times... hardship for a reason... if not for reasonSsssss. when we had gone through it with Him, we grow stronger..we grew more assured of his Presence... we will trust Him more and more!!! and more importantly... we serve as living testimonies of His goodness and we will be encouragements to ppl around us.
will be looking forward to more supper/drinking times with ppl....



P.S. the singapore sling at liquid kitchen[serangoon] is not nice!!! dun order!
